Welcome to another year of professional development through the presentations and networking offered by the North Suburban Speech-Language Association. NSSLA is an ISHA-recognized area group that provides ASHA-approved continuing education programs throughout the school year. Your annual NSSLA membership dues make available to you all five of the NSSLA programs scheduled for this year.
From the pool of members' suggestions, and through the discussion of committee chairs who met over the summer, our Program Chair, Pat Rom, has scheduled a rich line-up of presentations for us. Thank you, Pat, for your diligent work. We look forward to a year of learning and sharing. A list of our 2008-2009 programs is available on this website; reminders will not be mailed out.
The Membership Application is available below. Please complete it fully and write your email address clearly. This information will be included in our membership directory, to be available in January. NSSLA announcements will be shared via email with those who include their email addresses. If you use a work email address, check that nssla.org emails will not be blocked.
Thank you to all of our dedicated volunteers who keep our organization humming. A special thank you to Dee Fish, who gave NSSLA many years of leadership as co-president, chairperson, and presenter. The new NSSLA team will look to Dee and to our other former chairs to keep us on track.
