About our Speaker:
Sharyn Reiff is a licensed and certified speech-language pathologist with over 30 years of experience working in many school districts as well as private practice. She became interested in Accent Modification several years ago when she observed people living in her community who spoke English and were intelligent, capable and motivated to succeed, but could not communicate effectively because they learned English in their home countries from other non-native speakers. Sharyn completed several training courses in Accent Modification to acquire knowledge, skills and expertise to address the needs of non-native English speakers. In 2017, she created her business practice, “Clearly Said & Easily Understood” to train and coach accented English speaking adults whose communication challenges were related to language differences rather than disorders.
