​Program:
This interactive workshop will provide information about how to understand the finding of slow processing speed in a neuropsychological report, as well as how SLPs can use the results and recommendations from the report in therapy with their patients. A discussion of specific case studies will be included.

Objectives:

  2. Describe how slow processing speed affects functioning 
  3. Recall correlates of slow processing speed
  4. Extrapolate from the report ways to support students with slow processing through speech and language therapy
